About Me
Susan Sediqi is the Deputy Director of Donor Relations and Development at Daanish Foundation UK, where she cultivates meaningful partnerships and stewards’ supporters to accelerate access to education and community uplift. A qualified primary educator with a university degree in Primary Education and QTS, Susan currently serves as a primary school teacher, bringing front line classroom insight to every fundraising narrative and programme design. Her unique path includes leading a women’s Taekwondo class as an instructor -an experience that sharpened her leadership, perseverance, and commitment to creating safe, empowering spaces for girls and women.
At Daanish Foundation UK, Susan blends data informed donor journeys with human centred storytelling, aligning donor intent with measurable outcomes across scholarships, school resources, and family support initiatives. She is skilled in proposal writing, cultivation events, and digital campaigns, and she champions transparent reporting that turns generosity into sustained trust. Beyond targets and metrics, Susan’s motivation is simple: every child should feel seen, supported, and capable of success. Whether she’s guiding a pupil through a new concept or engaging a donor in a long term vision, Susan brings the same values - care, clarity, and consistency.
Outside of work, she enjoys curriculum innovation, parent engagement, and mentoring early career teachers, passions that inform her approach to donor education and stewardship. She values cross cultural collaboration and community partnership at every stage.
