Communities Through Education
Daanish Foundation UK is a humanitarian non-profit dedicated to supporting disadvantaged communities, particularly in Afghanistan. With years of experience and a predominantly Afghan team who understand local cultural and social challenges, we focus on the most vulnerable—especially girls—whose education is disrupted by poverty, discrimination, conflict, and disasters.
Since 2016 we have served the Afghan community in the UK, expanding our work inside Afghanistan in 2018. Our work includes building and renovating schools, providing educational materials, supporting widows with community and livelihood assistance, constructing mosques for underserved communities, and delivering emergency relief after natural disasters. Guided by compassion, education, transparency, and community, our mission is to help every child access education, dignity, and a hopeful future.
